Beauty my friend is only skin deep; it's what's inside our hearts that He sees......
There is the girl always dressed to the T; so perfect and Beautiful....one too many times on her knees.....
Her self worth lies in appearance alone; the more she gives of herself
the more attention those boys will loan....
She finds herself in a never ending cycle; ending up back where she started, only to find that she is so broken hearted....
Her identity was taken because she believed that lie
that he was "so in love" he would "always be there" Why?
Because "he cares"....
After the fact she is left in despair....not a sight of him anywhere....
He didn't really care.
Once again she finds herself shattered and broken...
until she hears some soft words spoken...
Words of love whispered right to her heart...
"Your self worth my dear is found when my son Jesus lives in your heart..."
"So let me pick you up, and brush you off, cleanse your soul, and give you a fresh start...."
"Now you will find your identity in me...I think you're beautiful, you are everything to me.....I have great plans for you, just wait and see.."

This is another poem i wrote for my girls.....I know many of you have felt like this before.....But there is hope...as you see, God sees you as Beautiful....! No matter what you have done, or what might have been taken from you....You will ALWAYS be special!!! Don't let anyone make you feel any different!!
